About
For over 20 years, Matthew has developed immersive experiences in virtually every industry and sector across three continents. His work transforms how people connect with brands: building community, fostering empathy, and nurturing loyalty through play and emotional storytelling. Over 11,000,000 people a year experience his work. He is a fierce advocate for the seamless integration of physical and digital environments, and a firm believer in the power of technology to extend humanity's best version of itself.
As Creative Director at Landor, Matthew spearheads the vision of landmark brand experiences. He promotes collaboration while cultivating space for team members to influence projects from any direction.
Previous clients have included Tiffany & Co., Netflix, LEGO, New Balance, Walmart, Ghirardelli, Timberland, Albertsons, and TUMI, among others. His fluid role spans physical environments, strategy, programming, service design, and digital interaction, and he often leads business development efforts from ideation through pitch presentations.
He is a frequent public speaker at national conferences, including the MayoClinic, SEGD (The Society of Experiential Graphic Design), and GlobalShop. He guest lectures annually at FIT, Pratt Institute (his alma mater), and Seton Hall.
Matthew is currently an Experiential Creative Director at Landor, and has previously led teams at Eight Inc, Potion, and Ralph Appelbaum Associates. Matthew brings a voracious curiosity and boundless energy to all of his projects. He chases the impossible and the unknown—from trapeze to neuroscience—and is fueled by his ambitious cooking experiments.
